Their Pure Canadian Beeswax Crayons are handmade from non-toxic ingredients and food-grade pigments to produce five pretty colours. Safe for children of all ages and less harmful than traditional paraffin-based crayons. Conforms to ASTM D-4236. The white powder on our crayons comes from "blooming," a natural phenomenon that occurs on beeswax and indicates that your crayon is 100% pure beeswax.
