Gold Nugget Squash

Compact bush plants with, as many as 10 fruits, all setting in a cluster at the base of the plant. Slightly ridged, miniature pumpkin shaped, hard-shelled orange fruits, the size of a softball or grapefruit. Weighing in at 1-1.5 lbs with moist, smooth golden/orange sweet-flavoured flesh, great for stuffing, soups, and pies. Keeps well. Fruits can also be harvested earlier, when young and tender, and used like summer squash. Great for small gardens.
